Spotify Wrapped 2024 Released: How to Check Your Music Revolution, Listening Habits, and the Chart Toppers?
Spotify Wrapped 2024 has officially been released. This annual recap, which started in 2016 as a marketing strategy, has become a cultural phenomenon. It has inspired similar features on platforms like Apple Music and Amazon Music, well as other services such as Duolingo and Reddit.
Spotify's Wrapped offers personalised insights through engaging graphics and includes unique features like artist video messages and "Your Music Evolution," which analyses how your music preferences have changed over the year.

How to access Spotify Wrapped?
Spotify users can access their 2024 Wrapped experience via the mobile or desktop app, even without a Premium subscription. The Wrapped feed will appear on the app's home page, and users should ensure they have the latest version downloaded to view it seamlessly.
Spotify Wrapped 2024 New Features
This year's Wrapped introduces "Your Music Evolution," which uses listening data to show how music choices have evolved throughout the year. Users receive descriptions of up to three musical "phases" defined by specific genres and artists. Additionally, the new Longest Listening Streak feature highlights the artist users enjoyed most this year. Spotify also brings back Top Listeners, revealing what percentile users rank among listeners of their favourite artist.
AI plays a significant role in this year's Wrapped. Users receive a personalised podcast about their music listening habits delivered by generative AI hosts using Google's NotebookLM. This feature is available in English for eligible users in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, the U.K., and the U.S., but only for a limited time.
Spotify Chart-Toppers of 2024
Taylor Swift remains Spotify's most listened-to artist for the second consecutive year with over 26.6 billion streams globally. She is followed by The Weeknd and Bad Bunny. Swift also tops this year's most-streamed albums list with "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology." Albums from female artists dominated this list: Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft" came second, while Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" was third.

Sabrina Carpenter's song "Espresso" was the most-streamed track of the year with more than 1.6 billion streams. Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" and Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" secured the next two spots respectively.
Sharing Your Listening Habits
Spotify encourages users to share their Wrapped results on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where custom integrations have been introduced recently. Several third-party applications can also analyse your listening data when connected to your Spotify account. For instance, How Bad Is Your Streaming Music? uses AI to evaluate your taste; Instafest creates a music festival line-up based on your favourite artists; Receiptify summarises your listening stats as a receipt.
Joe Rogan's podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" remains Spotify's most-streamed podcast for five consecutive years. Additionally, Spotify unveiled its first top-streamed audiobook in Premium: Sarah J. Maas' fantasy-romance novel "A Court of Thorns and Roses."
Spotify has integrated Wrapped into its popular AI features like AI DJ, which narrates users' listening history and personal relationship with AI DJ throughout the year. Premium users can create personalised playlists using their Wrapped data through AI Playlists.
