Letterpad Announced as Apple Watch First Game Reports TouchArcade

The Apple Watch is going to be more than just notifications and activity tracking. According to a report from TouchArcade, the upcoming word game from NimbleBit - Letterpad - will also be playable on the wearable device.

‘Letterpad' consists of a 3 x 3 tile of letters, where players must make words related to a specific topic. And you can see how the game will look on the device in the pictured mockup. It will also be available for iPhone and iPad.

The game will offer 200 puzzles at launch. Users will also be able to create and share their own riddles with the players' community.

Buyers can select from three different models of the watch. The low-end Sport will start at $349. Pricing for the other versions has yet to be announced.

Letterpad looks to be a perfect match for the smaller screen of the Apple Watch. We'll let you know when you can get your hands on Letterpad once that's announced, and hopefully it won't be too long before Apple lets us all know when we can get our hands on the Apple Watch.
