Edit Like a Pro! Adobe’s Photoshop App for iPhone Packs Powerful AI Tools and Editing Features
Adobe has launched a mobile version of its renowned photo editing tool, Photoshop, specifically for iPhone users. Although not a direct replica of the desktop software, this app is crafted to support creators who prioritise mobile devices and are in the early stages of their creative journey.
The mobile app incorporates essential Photoshop tools such as precise selection options, unlimited layers, and masks for image combination. Users can utilise the Tap Select tool to remove or alter parts of an image and employ the Spot Healing Brush for minor corrections. AI-driven features like Generative Fill and Generative Expand are also included.

Photoshop Mobile & Web Plan Features
Adobe has introduced a new Photoshop Mobile & Web plan available on the App Store. This plan offers premium mobile features alongside web access to Photoshop. Existing desktop subscribers now have access to Photoshop on iPhone with their current subscription.
The web version provides advanced functionalities such as Camera RAW filter, shapes, layer effects, and Quick Actions. It also includes generative AI capabilities like Generate Similar and Reference Image. Premium mobile features encompass tools like Remove Tool, Clone Stamp, Content-Aware Fill, Object Select, and Advanced Blend Modes.

Users can enjoy full-resolution editing in PSD format and access a vast library of free Adobe Stock assets. The app allows integration with Adobe Express and Adobe Fresco for cloud PSDs and editing Lightroom photos on iPhone.
AI-Powered Features
AI-based functionalities such as Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Text to Image are powered by Adobe Firefly. These features enhance the creative process by offering innovative ways to manipulate images. The app is currently exclusive to iPhone users but will soon be available for Android devices.
While the app itself is free, the new Photoshop Mobile & Web plan can be purchased through the App Store for additional features. This development marks a significant step in making professional-grade photo editing accessible on mobile platforms. By integrating core tools with advanced AI capabilities, Adobe aims to empower creators with versatile options for their projects.
