Angry Birds 2 Is Now Bigger, Badder, Birdier, Set to Launch On 30 July

    Rovio, the Finnish mobile games developer, announced a new game in the Angry Birds franchise. The company has launched at least 10 games under the Angry Birds title in the last couple of years.

    The new Angry Birds 2 will be officially unveiled on 28 July at an event in San Francisco, but the game will be made available to download starting 30 July. The company also announces that it will bring the original Angry Birds game which was launched about 6 years ago.

    "With 3 billion game downloads, millions of fans across the globe, multiple mashups and spin-offs, collaborations with A-list celebrities and much more, we're really proud that Angry Birds is the mother of all mobile game apps. And now we're proud to announce the mother of all sequels - Angry Birds 2!" Rovio posted in its Blog.

    It is expected that the Angry Birds 2 will be available for free on both Android and iOS platform soon after the launch. But Windows Phone users have to wait a longer to get the game.
