Apple Brings Final Cut Camera App to Support Live Multicam on iPad

Apple's 'Let Loose' event witnessed the launch of several products including the new lineup of iPads, the M4 chip, Apple Pencil Pro, and more. In addition, the tech giant has released updates for Final Cut Pro and its standalone app named Final Cut Camera.

The new version of Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 brings huge updates that unleash the remarkable capabilities of the new iPad Pro with the Live Multicam feature. It speeds up shooting by allowing users to capture up to four different angles of a single scene.

To support Live Multicam, Apple has brought the Final Cut Camera app to iPhone and iPad, allowing users to wirelessly connect and remotely direct each video angle with powerful 'Pro' controls.

The Final Cut Camera also allows users to adjust white balance and manual focus while monitoring their recordings with zebras and audio meters. By letting users adjust ISO and shutter speed, it gives more power to the camera system on iPad Air and iPad Pro.

Final Cut Camera works as a standalone video capture app to record professional videos on iPhone and iPad. Notably, the Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 is compatible with iPadOS 17.4 or later, and iPad models with the M1 chip or later. On the other hand, Final Cut Camera can be used on iPhone XS and later running iOS 17.4 or later, and iPad models running iPadOS 17.4 or later.

If you are an existing user of Final Cut Pro, it will be available as a free update later this spring, while new users can access it from the App Store by paying Rs 499/month or Rs 4999/year. However, Final Cut Camera can be accessed for free starting later this spring.
