Apple in collaboration with NBC Olympics is planning to create and publish the content which will be covering the Winter Olympics on the Apple News platform.
This will allow the Apple news readers to get the fresh updates of Winter Olympic on their Apple devices. When a user will open the Apple news app he will be able to see a big featured section at the top of the page which will contain all the current events taking place in the Winter Olympics.
The news section featuring the Winter Olympic Games will also include a real time medal tracker that will allow a user to see the list of countries along with the medals they have won. The Apple News widget has also been updated so that it shows the notifications of the ongoing Game without opening the News application.
Recently Apple had also made a claim that its revenue has touched a record of $88.3 bn in the holiday quarter. The company further reported that it has now 1.3 billion active installed user base of devices around the globe. As per reports from IANS Apple's earnings per share increased 16 per cent to $3.89 which is also a record. The international sales accounted for a total of 65 per cent of the quarter's revenue.
It was being reported that the "iPhone X surpassed all the expectations of the company in terms of sale and has been one of the top-selling iPhone every week since it shipped in November,"
The Apple iPhone X comes with a 5.8 inches Capacitive Touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels. The display type is Super Retina HD display. The smartphone makes use of a Hexa core Processor, Apple A11 Bionic Neural engine that is coupled with Apple designed GPU, 3 GB RAM and 256 GB storage default memory capacity.
