The ambulances are not just swift but are also fully equipped with critical life-saving tools. These vehicles carry oxygen cylinders, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), stretchers, monitors, suction machines, and a range of essential emergency medications and injections.

Ensuring comprehensive care during transportation, each ambulance is staffed with a paramedic, an assistant, and a professionally trained driver. However, it doesn't provide Ventilator care at this moment.

Albinder Dhindsa, the CEO of Blinkit, emphasized that the primary objective of this service is not profit-making but addressing a crucial healthcare challenge. "Profit is not a goal here. We will operate this service at an affordable cost for customers and invest in really solving this critical problem for the long term," Dhindsa stated. This statement highlights the company’s dedication to making healthcare services more accessible to the public without compromising on the quality or speed of medical assistance.

Dhindsa also shared insights into the future trajectory of this ambulance service. "We are carefully scaling this service up, as it is both important and new to us. Our aim is to expand to all major cities over the next two years," he revealed. This expansion strategy reflects Blinkit's broader vision of transforming emergency medical services across India, making rapid medical response a reality for a larger population.

Blinkit's introduction of a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram marks a significant advancement in emergency healthcare services. With state-of-the-art equipment, trained medical personnel, and a focus on affordability, the company sets a new standard in rapid medical response. As Blinkit plans to extend this vital service to major cities, the future looks promising for the accessibility and efficiency of emergency medical care in India.
