Department of Posts launches Complaint tracker in Postinfo app
The feature of tracking of complaints registered by the customers online on Computerised Customer Care Centres has been introduced in the Postinfo App of India Post last month.

With an aim to resolve complaints more efficiently, the Department of Posts has introduced Complaint Tracker in Postinfo App.

The feature of tracking of complaints registered by the customers online on Computerised Customer Care Centres has been introduced in the Postinfo App of India Post last month.
India Post had launched a Postinfo Mobile App in 2015.
Postinfo - the Citizens' centric android Mobile application was developed by the Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology.
The app has the number of features like tracking consignments, Post Office search, postage calculator, insurance premium calculator and interest calculator.
This App of India Post can be downloaded in Android and Windows mobile phones and five lakh customers have already downloaded the Postinfo App.
Postinfo app also comes with three different calculators- Postage, Premium, and Interest and with the postage calculator allows you to calculate the postage amount to be paid based on its weight, while premium calculator helps you to calculate the premium payable for different Postal /Rural Postal Life Insurance Policies and interest calculator shows the interest rate for various savings schemes.
The Department has also reviewed and revised its Citizens' Charter in December 2017, which is a tool for facilitating the delivery of services to citizens with specified standards, quality and time frame etc. with the commitment from the organization to its customers.
