Facebook Messenger lets developers monetize ads
Facebook Messengers get another ability.
Facebook's Messenger is one of the widely used chat applications. Since the past year, the company is bringing in a lot of new features to the app to make it better.

Back in 2016, Facebook introduced the Instant Games for Messenger with more than 20 games from various developers. This number increased gradually and the developers got more features to build a flexible and rich gameplay experience. Then, Facebook introduced ads in its Messenger app a few months back.
Now, as the next phase of developing the Messenger app, the social networking company has announced the rollout tests of video ads with select game developers. In the testing phase, users will see ads while they play games and use the demand from Audience Network to deliver the ads in-game. The game titles including FRVR's Basketball FRVR and Blackstorm's Everwing will have ads between the gameplay.
The company has stated that rolling out in small batches or phases will let them read and learn the best ways for the game developers to offer an improved and better gaming experience while they provide a way to monetize the same. From the results, Facebook will offer the reward video ads to more developers. Also, the company will optimize the video ad platform in the weeks to come.
Facebook will offer more developer tools for the optimization of ads. This move will let developers generate revenue and invest more for the betterment of the instant gaming platform. Besides this monetization, Facebook will also launch in-app purchases. With the closed beta testing, the game developers can submit and launch their games on the platform directly with a robust toolset. Those developers who are interested in creating Instant Games are free to sign up to the same from here.
