Flipkart stops working: App and website both down

Popular e-commerce website Flipkart is currently down and is inaccessible. If you visit the website or try using the app you will be greeted with a message stating, "We are seeing a surge in the number of shoppers, please retry in few minutes, Error Code: E002."

From the reason that the company has displayed, it looks like Flipkart's servers are down due to a high number of users visiting the website. As of now, the company has not provided any official comments regarding the same.

If you try using the app you will likely see the error message: " Something went wrong- Retry!" So it seems both the website and the app are down. While we are still speculating the case, such incident is quite rare with the website. But again due to its popularity and how e-commerce has flourished in the last couple of years, Flipkart is seeing signs that it has to improve on its platform to handle more.

In any case, flipkart.com is down since 12:06 PM and there is nothing we can do except wait. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress.

Meanwhile, if the site is up and if you can't access the page you can try one of the following steps. It might be a browser related problem and you can firstly force a full refresh of the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favorite browser whether it be Firefox, Chrome, or Explorer.
