Google Assistant now allows money transaction via Google Pay in the US
Google Assistant enabled payments will also work for the users who have not yet signed up for Google Pay, however, the user needs to sign up before making the final transaction.
Google has been regularly bringing updates to its apps and devices, now the latest app to get an update is the Google Assistant. As per some reports from the internet, Google has made an announcement that the first Google Pay Integration for Google Assistant will allow money transactions. Yes, that's correct users in the US will now be able to send or receive money using the Google Assistant.
The report further suggests that the new feature will be made available for the Android and iOS users in the US. Further, Google will add the feature to Google Home and other Google-Assistant-enabled devices in the coming months. The Assistant enabled payments will also work for the users who have not yet signed up for Google Pay, however, the user needs to sign up before making the final transaction. Also, the users will be notified by the Google Pay app once they have received the money. Google will also send a confirmation email or text message for the transaction that has been made. A user can also cash out from the Google Pay account. That said, it would be much appreciated if Google made this service available for India and other countries. There is no information either on when this facility will be available for other regions; however, an early release would be much appreciated.
