Google Photos To Get 'My Week' Feature for Sharing Memories
Google is always adding new features to its services. Each new addition is welcomed globally. Now, Google is introducing a fresh feature to its Google Photos service. Here are the details.
Google Photos will soon have a feature called "My Week." This allows users to share their weekly memories through photos with friends and family. The "My Week" feature will compile users' best photos and videos into a weekly collection.

Users can then easily share this collection. Currently, this feature is not available in version 6.90 of the Google Photos app, indicating it is still in testing. Screenshots from the test show that the My Week feature will appear as a new tile in the Memories section of the app.
When users select this tile, they can choose which photos to share. The selected photos will be displayed in a card format within the Memories section. Google has described this as a beautiful way to share memories with close friends and family.
Recipients of the shared memory collection can view it in the Memories section of their Google Photos app on mobile devices. The photos and videos will be shown in a slideshow format, allowing them to like and comment on specific pictures. This feature enhances interaction while sharing memories.
In addition to "My Week," Google Photos is expected to introduce several other new features soon. Recently, Google launched the AI-powered Gemini mobile app in India, available in nine languages including Tamil.
The Gemini app supports Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, and Urdu. Users can interact with the Gemini chatbot by talking, entering text, or uploading photos for assistance.
This new feature in Google Photos aims to make sharing weekly memories more engaging and interactive. Users can look forward to these updates enhancing their experience with Google Photos.
