Google Play Store Rolls Out Updates UI, Featuring Search Bar at the Bottom

Last year, it was reported that Google is testing a new design for its Play Store. For some users, the search bar of the Play Store was missing. Now, a new Search tab is one of the changes to the Google Play Store, which has been replaced at the bottom between the 'Apps' and 'Offers'.

The search on the Google Play Store is now split into four sections namely - "Discover" which shows suggestions related to recent queries, "You might like'' which displays some trending apps, then "Explore Games'' and "Explore apps" are placed with the logos.

For instance, if you click on ''Car Games'' it will directly allow you to download the games available in the Play Store. At the top of the screen, you can check the ratings, offline or online, single-player or multiple-player, and others.

Now, the Play Store icon then the notification bell and the profile icon are placed at the top. Under the ''Offers'' section, you can easily see which offers are available for the particular week or which ones are going to end soon. Even the price drops on books and movie or TV deals can also be checked from Play Store's offers section.

There is a dedicated section named ''Books'' placed at the bottom next to the ''offers'' section, which gives you a wide range of options such as e-books, audiobooks, comics, top selling, and so on. Although the search icon is placed at the bottom, you still have to type at the top of the screen when you search for something.
