Google Brings iPhone Users a New Circle to Search-Like Feature in Chrome and Google Apps
Google is introducing a new feature called "Search Screen with Google Lens" for iOS users. This functionality will be accessible in the three-dot menu within both Chrome and the Google app on iOS devices. Users can employ natural gestures like drawing, highlighting, or tapping to initiate a search. However, unlike Android's Circle to Search, this feature is limited to these apps and cannot be used system-wide due to Apple's restrictions.
In the near future, Chrome's address bar will feature a new Google Lens icon. This addition aims to streamline access to the Search Screen with Google Lens feature, making it even more convenient for users. The rollout of this update is scheduled for this week and will be available globally on Chrome for iOS and the Google app for iOS.

Visual Search Capabilities
This tool allows users to perform visual searches swiftly while browsing without needing screenshots or opening new tabs. It's particularly beneficial in Chrome, where web content is readily accessible. Google's intention is to enhance user experience by simplifying how searches are conducted directly from the browser.
Additionally, Google Lens will now incorporate AI Overviews similar to those in Google Search. These overviews are designed to assist users in quickly understanding objects they are viewing. They also provide links to useful online resources, enriching the search experience with relevant information.
Enhanced Features and Accessibility
The introduction of AI Overviews marks an advancement in how Google Lens processes queries related to object identification. By offering quick insights and additional resources, users can gain a deeper understanding of their search subjects efficiently. This update reflects Google's ongoing efforts to integrate advanced features into its applications, enhancing functionality and user engagement across its platforms.
As these updates become available worldwide, they promise improved accessibility and utility for iOS users engaging with Google's services. The enhancements aim to make visual searching more intuitive and seamless across Google's ecosystem on iOS devices. By leveraging AI technology, Google continues to refine its tools, providing users with smarter ways to interact with digital content.
