Microsoft Your Phone App Update
Microsoft users can now dial a number to make a call on their PC. They can check their call history and also seamlessly transfer calls between the PC and the phone. Microsoft says the feature helps users as they can avoid picking their phones while working on the PC. After initially tested for a few months by the Windows Insider members, the feature is available worldwide.
The Microsoft Your Phone app on the PC allows users to make calls using the in-app dialer and accessing the contact list. If users wish to decline a call, they can even send a custom text via the PC.
Thank you #WindowsInsiders for your feedback over the last couple of months. Today, we're pleased to announce the general availability of the #YourPhone app Calls feature, which allows you to receive and make phone calls on your PC: https://t.co/m47kLcXgbS pic.twitter.com/4GuIOXjR71

When the user clicks the recent call, it will automatically reveal the number that was recently dialed on the screen. Microsoft notes that in case users need to get up and move around, they can also switch from the PC to the phone without any fuss.
Users will need the Android 7 Nougat ot above on their smartphones to access the feature. The Your Phone app can be installed from the Google Play Store. Microsoft notes that only Windows 10 users can get the feature and will likely not function on older versions. Plus, the Windows 10 PC should have Bluetooth support as well to connect with the smartphone.
