Motorola introduces improved Moto camera app along with new UI
Moto camera app will no longer feature old-fashioned overflow menus, instead of that the new app has swipeable menus to allow a user access the camera, video and other modes quickly.
Motorola has recently announced the Moto G6 lineup which is scheduled to release by next week. Following this Motorola has silently rolled out an update for its camera app on the PlayStore. The newly updated camera app gets a newly designed camera icon as well, which will be replacing all of the previously available hexagonal patterns with a plain blue colour.
As per some sources from the web, the changes were initially spotted by 9to5Google, mentions that the latest update brings a 'New 2018 Camera User Interface', which is said to be centred around intuitive usability. It is also being reported that the Moto camera app will no longer feature old-fashioned overflow menus, instead of that the new app has swipeable menus to allow a user access the camera, video and other modes quickly. That said about the latest update to the Moto camera app, let's quickly have a look at what the device has in store for the users in terms of specifications and features.
Motorola Moto G6 comes with a 5.7 inches Capacitive touchscreen display which has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The display type in the Moto G6 is IPS LCD.
In terms of processor and storage the smartphone makes use of an Octa Core 1.8 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 that is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU, 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB Storage default memory capacity. This storage can be expanded up to another Up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD Card.
On the imaging front, Motorola Moto G6 features a 12 MP + 5 MP Dual Camera with LED Flash, that supports 1080p@30fps videos, Geo Tagging, Panorama. Up front, the smartphone from Motorola makes use of a 16 MP Camera with LED Flash selfie camera.
The connectivity aspects on board the Motorola Moto G6 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, v4.2, microUSB v2.0, with A-GPS, GLONASS and Dual Sim.
