Game Changer! Stream Netflix Entire Seasons Offline on Your iPhone and iPad Now!

Netflix has introduced a highly anticipated feature for iOS users, allowing them to download entire seasons of their favourite shows on iPhones and iPads. Previously available only on Android, this update simplifies the process by eliminating the need to download episodes individually. The new Season Download option is conveniently located next to the Share button on a show's page, enhancing offline viewing experiences.

Offline viewing was first made available by Netflix in 2016. Since then, features like Smart Downloads have been added, which automatically replace watched episodes with the next one in line. The introduction of full-season downloads for iOS devices further enhances Netflix's accessibility and convenience for its global audience.

Netflix Popular Shows and Pricing Changes

Netflix has also shared its most downloaded seasons ever, with Squid Game Seasons 1 and 2 leading the list. Other popular titles include Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, One Piece, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. This feature arrives amid price hikes in the US, where the premium ad-free plan now costs $24.99 monthly, while the standard ad-free plan is $17.99.

The ad-supported tier has also seen an increase to $7.99 per month. Subscribers on ad-free plans can store up to 100 active downloads per device, whereas those on ad-supported plans are limited to 15 downloads monthly. Interestingly, these price changes do not affect Indian users at present.

Netflix Subscription Plans in India

In India, Netflix continues to offer four subscription plans: Mobile, Basic, Standard, and Premium. The Mobile plan costs Rs 149 per month and allows streaming on one device at a time in 480p resolution. The Basic plan is priced at Rs 199 and supports 720p resolution with one streaming device.

The Standard plan offers 1080p HD resolution for Rs 499 and permits two simultaneous streams. Lastly, the Premium plan costs Rs 649 and provides 4K resolution with spatial audio support for up to four devices simultaneously. Content can be downloaded on up to seven devices under this plan.

The full-season download feature for iOS devices is now live on Netflix. Users who haven't experienced it yet should update their Netflix app via the App Store to access this convenient new feature.
