OpenAI Introduces Meeting Recording Feature and More for ChatGPT for Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, More

OpenAI has introduced a "record mode" for ChatGPT, enabling users to document meetings, brainstorming sessions, or personal reflections. This feature currently exclusive to Chat Team subscribers, costing25 per person monthly with an annual plan for two or more users. The notes and transcriptions come with timestamped citations and action items.

ChatGPT now integrates with Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, Sharepoint, and OneDrive. Users can query stored documents and spreadsheets for specific information. For instance, they might ask about last year's Q1 revenue or details of a past trip. OpenAI assures that data will be structured clearly while respecting existing user-level permissions.

Enterprise AI Market Competition

OpenAI is vying for enterprise AI clients against major tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Anthropic. These firms are rapidly developing generative AI features in a competitive market projected to exceed $1 trillion in revenue within seven years. OpenAI's strategy includes expanding its client base by offering tailored solutions.
