PhonePe Teams Up with OpenAI to Integrate ChatGPT into Its UPI App

PhonePe has teamed up with OpenAI to integrate artificial intelligence into its platform. Last month, OpenAI partnered with Razorpay and NPCI to enable UPI transactions via ChatGPT. Additionally, the ChatGPT Go subscription will be free for Indian users for the next year.

The partnership allows OpenAI to tap into PhonePe's extensive user base and ecosystem, including the Indus Appstore. Oliver Jay, Head of International at OpenAI, stated, "Our collaboration with PhonePe is a significant milestone in our mission to make AI more accessible to people throughout India." This move underscores India's role as a global innovation hub.
