One of the surveys conducted by Norton Mobile Survey states that almost 50% of the smartphone users give permissions for all apps to access their contacts, mobile data, etc. and to send promotional emails and messages without knowing enough about the same. Having said that, there are many apps that will send the data secretly and it is important to stop this activity to keep your data safe. JioSecurity focuses on this.

The JioSecurity app is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app is exclusive to the Jio users alone. The functioning of the JioSecurity app is pretty simple. You just have to download the application from the respective app store and log in to using your Jio ID. Once you log in, the app will prompt you asking for the administrator permissions. You need to give the permission and it will scan your device and come up with a comprehensive report.

The implementation of the JioSecurity app is useful. The app will be able to display the privacy risk posed by certain apps and show where the data is being sent. JioSecurity will prompt you to uninstall the app or add it to the Trust section. Apart from monitoring the apps, this security app will also monitor the websites and alert you regarding the malicious link and pages. It also keeps a track of activities carried out in the mWallet services.

On the whole, the JioSecurity app is a neat addition to the Jio Suite of apps that are comprised under the MyJio app.
