Snapchat Rolled Out New Update for Android and iOS

Video messaging app, Snapchat has rolled out the updates for both the Android and iOS platform. In this update the tap-and-hold preview is replaced with simple tap-and-view feature.

In the official blog, the company posted "Today marks a pretty big change for Snapchat - you no longer have to press and hold the screen to view a Snap or Story - instead, simply Tap to View! This means no more tired thumbs while watching a several-hundred-second Story... and a little getting used to for anyone who has been Snapchatting for a while. We think you're going to love it!"

Moreover, the users now have the ‘Add Nearby' friends option that shows the list of people using Snapchat in their proximity, provided they also have the Add Nearby option.
