The analysis further sheds light on the behavioral patterns of smartphone users. Indonesians led globally with an impressive average of over 6 hours spent on apps each day. This heightened engagement is mirrored across the top 10 markets, with a daily average of 5 hours of app usage.
This increase in screen time has also translated into a 3% rise in spending. In the realm of app downloads, e-commerce platforms Shein and Temu have emerged as front-runners. Temu, in particular, has garnered the title of the most downloaded app across an impressive 125 markets.
Additionally, the travel and ticketing sectors are witnessing a resurgence, aligning with global economic recovery trends. As a result, these sectors are experiencing a boost in consumer spending.
