Tinder's new feature to empower women and stop annoying stalkers
Tinder to launch a 'Ladies first' feature.
Tinder, the online dating app might have something new in the store. Some might praise the new feature, while others might not be too happy about it. In a time where finding your perfect match is just a swipe away, it can be hard to determine what app suits your personal needs.

Regardless of the outcome, messaging a total stranger can be risky, trying to build a profile to get attention from other profiles you feel would be your match. And if there is someone who doesn't take a friendly 'No' or, a non-reply as a hint of lack of interest and continues to flood your inbox with messages anyway, then you have to use the old block button.
It seems the dating app Tinder will soon have the 'female first' option, that would allow the ladies to take a call whether to strike a conversation or not. The feature was first seen on another dating app called Bumble, which also helped it gain more female users.
Mandy Ginsberg, the chief executive of Match Group Inc, the company that owns the Tinder, announced on Market Watch that the feature would soon be available for all users.
"Often, women don't really want the pressure of kicking off the conversation, but if they want it, that's great. Giving people the choice versus telling people how to engage is the big difference. We have to constantly listen to what women want and address their needs, not just on Tinder but on all products."
In November last year, Match, which also owns other dating apps such as OkCupid and PlentyofFish, announced that new AI features will be rolled out the dating app.
Greg Blatt, the CEO of Tinder's parent company, Match, has said that new features will "blur lines between the physical and digital world for dating." Moreover, the features will ensure the interest among the users rises.

He also gave a vague idea of how would the new location feature work, no details were provided about the AI features. The only thing we know that Tinder will use the users' data to offer a more personalized experience. The features are expected to be introduced sometime in early 2018.
