Google introduces new location-based feature allowing users to locate nearby food corners and more just by posting a tweet. Here's how it works.
Google has been lately working on improving its search engine results. In the state of demonetization when everyone has been struggling to find a nearby ATM, Google made things easy by introducing an ATM finder feature overnight.
Google, at the time of cash crunch, integrated the Google Maps' ATM finder feature letting the users locate ATMs with cash. The tech giant has now rolled out a similar feature for the Twitter lovers, which lets the Twitter users the ability to search for nearby ATMs, food corners or be it anything else just by putting an emoji without even leaving the Twitter app.

Yes, the task that Google search engine did until today can now be performed by Twitter just by tweeting an emoji of what the user is looking for. All that the Twitter users are required to do is put an emoji and type @Google right next to it and tweet it. On doing so, Google will bring out the search result as per the user's requirement.
These emoji search on Twitter has the ability to provide search results ranging from food corners to local activities and more.

For instance, if a user is looking for a good burger place nearby, all that the user is required to do is, tweet the burger emoji and add @Google after its like (Burger emoji)@Google. Google search result will provide the best burger outlets available nearby.
According to media reports, with this new initiative, the tech giant is looking forward to promote local search results with this tweet to @Google feature. Google used the #KnowNearby hashtag to imply that the search results are location based.
