Uber One Subscription Service Launched in India: Earn Cashbacks on Trips, Free Zomato Gold Membership, More
Uber has introduced its Uber One subscription service in India, targeting frequent users of its ride-hailing platform.
This loyalty programme offers benefits such as cashback in the form of Uber One credits, access to top-rated drivers on eligible rides, priority support for members, and a complimentary subscription to a food delivery service. Previously available in the US and Canada, India is now the latest country to receive this service.

Uber One Subscription Cost
The subscription cost for Uber One in India begins at Rs. 149 per month. However, there is currently a limited-time offer providing an 80 percent discount for the first month, reducing the price to Rs. 29.80. Users can select from monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans, though only monthly and yearly options are visible on the app at present. The annual plan is priced at Rs. 1,499 per year.
Uber One Subscription Benefits
Subscribers can earn 10 percent Uber One credits on various services like Uber Go, Go Sedan, Premier, XL, Reserve, Black, Auto, Moto, and Package bookings. Shuttle users can receive up to 35 percent in credits while Intercity and Rentals bookings yield one percent credits. These credits can be used for all rides booked via the app.
However, there are limitations to these credits. They are capped at Rs. 150 per trip and apply to a maximum of 150 rides for monthly and quarterly plans. For yearly subscribers, this limit extends to 600 trips. Credits expire after 60 days from issuance and do not apply to payments made with existing Uber One credits.
Additional Subscription Perks
In addition to ride-related benefits, Uber One subscribers receive a free three-month Zomato Gold subscription. This is provided through a voucher code sent via email within three working days after purchasing the subscription. Uber also ensures that subscribers have access to top-rated drivers on select rides based on availability and offers round-the-clock support for members.
The company highlights that users can save up to 16 percent annually by opting for the yearly plan instead of renewing monthly subscriptions. This new offering aims to enhance user experience by providing added value through exclusive benefits and discounts tailored for regular users of Uber's services in India.
