WhatsApp’s New Feature Lets Users Create, Organise and Share Personalised Sticker Packs: Here’s How it Works!

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that simplifies sticker management. Users can now create custom sticker packs directly within the app, eliminating the need for third-party applications. This update allows users to organise saved stickers into multiple folders, making it easier to find and send them. Additionally, users can now send an entire sticker pack at once instead of sharing each sticker individually.

The feature was initially tested in October 2024 and was available earlier this year to WhatsApp beta users on Android through the Google Play Beta Programme. Now, this custom sticker pack feature is accessible on both Android and iOS platforms. The update enhances user experience by allowing seamless creation and sharing of personalised stickers.

Custom Sticker Pack Creation

To create a custom sticker pack, users should open the stickers section and tap on the new pencil icon next to GIF, avatar, and sticker options. After selecting desired stickers, they need to choose the three-dot option in the bottom-left corner of the screen and select "Add to sticker pack." Users can name their folder, and the custom pack will appear alongside other saved stickers.

WhatsApp announced this feature with enthusiasm: "You can now create your own sticker packs and share them directly in your chats, so your friends and family can all use your custom stickers to express themselves." This addition aims to enhance communication by allowing more personalised expression through stickers.

Limitations and Availability

It is important to note that only user-created stickers can be saved in these custom packs; those made by WhatsApp itself cannot be included. Despite this limitation, Gadgets 360 staff confirmed that the feature is live for both Android and iOS platforms, providing a consistent experience across devices.
