WhatsApp Rolls Out Message Draft Indicator for Smartphones and Web: Here's How to Use It
WhatsApp has finally rolled out a 'draft indicator' for managing unfinished chats effectively, which is now live for both mobile and web versions. Sometimes you start a message to your friend and get distracted by an official chat and completely forget about that unfinished draft.
Now, the Meta-owned instant messaging app will remind you via a draft indicator on the chat when you start a message and don't finish it. Besides, you can draft a message to send it later. Here's how to draft a message on WhatsApp.

How to Draft a Message on WhatsApp
Step 1: First open your WhatsApp on Android or iOS and chat with where you want to draft a message.
Step 2: Then write a message and simply leave the chat to draft a message. You can hit the 'send button' whenever you want to send.
The process for both smartphones and the web are same for drafting a message. Even you can see a draft at the top of the chats list, so you don't forget about it and don't need to scroll to search for the specific chat. As noted, the feature is available worldwide for both web and mobile versions.
WhatsApp is one of the popular instant messaging apps with over 500 million active users in India. The messaging app has become an integral part of our daily lives and continuously brings new features to enhance users' experience.
The social media platform is testing a new 'Highlights' feature to help users manage group chat notifications more easily by making it clearer what happens when they mute these conversations.
Users will be able to choose to receive notifications for all group messages or limit alerts to only "Highlights." This "Highlights" option will include notifications for @mentions, replies, and other direct interactions, allowing users to focus on messages that involve or address them specifically. The new 'Highlights' feature is currently available to select Android beta users with a broader rollout expected in the future.
