WhatsApp To Stop Working on 35 Smartphones: Check if Yours Is on the List

WhatsApp will soon stop working for 35 older smartphone models from top brands like Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, LG, and Apple. According to CanalTech's report, these devices will no longer receive updates or security patches for the app. This means some users need to upgrade their devices to continue using the messaging service.

This change is part of WhatsApp's regular updates to ensure optimal performance and security. Older devices often lack the necessary hardware capabilities to support new features and security updates. The app will only support smartphones running Android 5.0 or later and iOS 12 or later. Users with older smartphones should consider upgrading to newer models to continue to use the instant messaging app.
