WhatsApp is rolling out a major update that adds native iPad account support alongside several new productivity and entertainment features. WhatsApp has partnered with Adobe to improve document management across its mobile, desktop, and web apps.

Users can now open PDF files directly inside chats without downloading them first, making document sharing quicker and reducing device storage usage.

On WhatsApp Web and desktop, the integration also introduces basic PDF editing tools, allowing users to highlight text and add annotations using Adobe Acrobat technology. The feature is expected to be particularly useful for professionals who regularly collaborate using documents.

Share Apple Music and Spotify Songs to WhatsApp Status

The update also expands WhatsApp Status with direct music sharing.

Users can now share songs from Apple Music and Spotify directly to their Status without taking screenshots or manually copying links. The new integration offers a faster and cleaner way to recommend music to friends and contacts.
