WhatsApp Will Soon Suggest Stickers While You Type Messages: Report

WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new Sticker Suggestions feature for iOS users, bringing a capability that has already been under testing on Android. The feature is now available with the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS version 26.1.10.72, according to WABetaInfo.

With this update, users will get a smarter and faster way to use stickers directly while typing messages – without the need to open the sticker panel.

How Sticker Suggestions Will Work on WhatsApp

As per the shared screenshots by WABetaInfo, select beta testers, sticker suggestions appear dynamically in the chat bar. When a user types an emoji, WhatsApp may instantly suggest a sticker that visually matches the meaning of that emoji.

These suggestions appear in real time while composing a message, allowing users to send a sticker with just a single tap. This removes the extra step of browsing through sticker packs, making chats more seamless and expressive.

Sticker suggestions will enhance conversations, especially for users who prefer visual communication. By surfacing relevant stickers at the right moment, WhatsApp makes interactions quicker, smoother, and more engaging – without interrupting the flow of a conversation.
