Google today rolled out the latest Google Play Store version, which carries the build number 8.2.56. This new version brings along a minor tweaks and bug fixes, but nothing major.
The latest version of the Store weighs in at 18.27 megabytes. While it makes no significant changes to the user interface, the update is necessary to counter some possible threats. This is the fourth update Google has rolled within the time of little over one week. We are expecting the next updates will make some improvements in terms of visual and system performance.
We suggest you to wait until Google officially notifies about the update. Having said that, if you are the impatient kind, the Google Play Store 8.2.56 APK can be downloaded now. You can downlaod it here.
While the Google Play Store is receiving regular updates, not all is well with it. Users are facing a problem, in which they are not getting notified about their current and remaining balance. The only way is to go back to Google Play and check it.
However, it is apparently not the same for all the users. Google Play Store for Android is displaying users the nearest balance expiration days. This can prove to be extremely helpful when users have received gift cards or bought credits from Google Play Store.
