The support for VR videos however is limited to only the Android app of YouTube. Further no words are available regarding the availability of this feature in the company's iOS or Windows apps. All you need to do to enjoy a VR video is to own a VR Headset (Google Cardboard 2.0) and then select the ‘Cardboard' option from the menu. Follow this up by placing your phone into the VR headset i.e. Google Cardboard in this case.

"YouTube now supports VR video-a brand new kind of video that makes you feel like you're actually there. Using the same tricks that we humans use to see the world, VR video gives you a sense of depth as you look around in every direction. Near things look near, far things look far. So if you were excited about 360° videos, this is pretty freakin' cool," stated YouTube in an official statement.
