YouTube Renovates App with Vertical Video

The new app looks slicker and has loads of features that are supposed to make it easier to edit and upload videos to the site, Re/code.com reported.

The app allows you to watch vertical video in full screen, since that is the format so many people use when they shoot video.
Introducing the app recently at Vidcon - the annual YouTube fan convention - YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki encouraged the people to make videos for YouTube.
YouTube is now facing competition from social media giant Facebook that has added the videos feature in its News Feed.
