YouTube Rolling Out Multi-Language Audio Feature For Easy Dubbing
YouTube is finally rolling out its multi-language audio tracks feature across the world. This new feature will let YouTubers add multiple audio tracks to a single video. With this, viewers across the globe will be able to watch YouTube videos in their native language.
YouTube Multi-Language Audio: How it Works
YouTube's newest audio feature lets creators add audio dubbing to their videos, allowing them to increase their reach worldwide. Previously, YouTubers would upload separate videos for each of the different languages.

With the multi-language support, creators can now offer multiple language options on the original video. Eligible video creators can upload their audio tracks via YouTube's Subtitles Editor tool.
Meanwhile, viewers can verify if a video has a multi-language option by heading to the video's settings, denoted by the gear icon. If the video has an "Audio Track" option, it would mean that the dubbed version is available.

Selecting it will open up a list of available languages. The viewer can then choose one of the options to play the video dubbed in their preferred language. By default, the video will play in the user's preferred language.
Do All YouTube Videos Get Multi-Language Audio?
YouTube states that early tests saw over 3,500 dubbed videos uploaded in more than 40 languages. Among these, creators reported that more than 15 percent of their views were from dubbed videos.
Popular YouTuber MrBeast, with over 135 million subscribers across the globe, has already utilized the multi-language feature. He has dubbed his most popular videos in 11 languages, including Hindi, Spanish, French, and more. Detailing his experience in an interview with Creator Insider, he said, "It's simpler for people in Mexico or India to understand, as all the dubs are in one place and on one video."
Currently, YouTube is rolling out multi-language support for thousands of creators. The firm, however, did not reveal when it will reach all YouTubers.
