Canon upgrades EOS SLR camera with ultra wide lens

Canon has now upgraded its EOS SLR camera series with ultra wide lens of Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM. When using EOS camera on a full frame body, the wider lens facilitates users to capture 17mm field of view with an advanced 2.4x zoom factor. It also enables to go up to a 40mm field of view. Moreover, it will also feature a constant f/4 aperture along with the presence of a silent focusing motor.

Regrettably, as it supports such a vast field of view, there would be some noticeable barrel distortion at the wider focal length ranges. However, this can be rectified using any software such as Adobe Photoshop Lightroom by means of its embedded profile.
