FujiFilm FinePix AX550 new camera

FujiFilm has recently added another camera to their FinePix camera line up. The new camera is dubbed as FujiFilm FinePix AX550. This is a simple point and shoot camera but has many interesting specs.

The camera is very compact and has a very sleek design to it. It would easily fit in your palm. The device comes in dual colour combinations. The lens and the surrounding area are given metallic silver finishing and so are certain buttons. A metallic silver band runs around the periphery of the device too. The design is very appealing and the colour schemes look very beautiful. Being compact too it will be very easy to carry the camera around even for long journeys.

The CCD image sensor in the camera has a resolution of 16 mega pixels. It is couples with a Fujinon lens having 5X optical zoom. 2.7 inch LCD screen is provided at the back and it is provided with enough resolution. The camera can take very good quality images in par with other high end camera and also record videos too. Video recording is done with 720p resolution.

The CCD image shift stabilization technology used in the camera ensures good quality pictures without any blurredness. This is even when the pictures are clicked while travelling. The intelligent flash in the camera takes into account the ambient lighting condition before automatically adjusting the flash mode.

Different scene modes are also recognized automatically and sufficient changes are made in the shutter speed and exposure time. The auto focusing speed is very fast. This allows the user to take simultaneous images in quick succession. The camera works in standard AA size battery. So even if the charge goes out you can very well change the batteries anytime and anywhere without having to worry about plugging in the batteries for charging, provided you have spare AA batteries.

FujiFilm FinePix AX550 price tag is not yet known. It can be expected to be in the range of other point and shoot cameras.
