The main problem with most of the digital still cameras is that they lack good video recording capabilities. Kodak has analysed this problem and has come up with a suitable solution. The new model from Kodak is termed as PLAYFULL Dual camera and it bridges the gap between the photo and video capturing devices.

This camera lets the user to record videos with 1080p clarity at a speed of about 60 frames per second. The large 3 inch screen helps you to review the video. There is an external microphone or headphone jack that lets you add additional audio recording and reviewing equipment’s so that maximum fidelity is guaranteed.
The camera has digital image stabilization, so even if you shake the camera during the recording the images won’t be much distorted. The camera can offer ISO of up to 3200 and this allows you to record videos in very low light conditions and this make this an apt device for shooting very fast action sequences.
The 12 mega pixel BSI CMOS sensor lets you take very amazing pictures with utmost clarity. The integrated Xenon flash lets you shoot pictures even if there is no light available. There are two wide angle lenses available.
The 26 mm lens is used for still photography whereas the 31 mm lens is used for video recording. This wide angle lens lets the user shoot very broad pictures like that of a landscape. The camera can be used to shoot pictures while the video is being recorded.
The pictures and videos taken by the camera can be easily shared by using Kodak’s one touch share button. The contents can be posted in Social networking sites and also to other sites like Youtube.
