GoPro has added a new member to its action camera range in the form of Hero+. Touting similar externals of the Hero, the budget action camera dubbed the Hero+ adds a WiFi to the existing cheaper variant.
Previously the Hero lineup consisted of a $129.99 Hero and a Hero+ LCD priced at $299.99. The main difference between the Hero and Hero+ LCD lies in the fact that the latter variant came with a LCD display and a WiFi. Hence opting for a WiFi variant of the Hero action camera was costly affair, considering the fact that one has to pay a $100 (Rs 6,000) for an added WiFi and LCD.
In an attempt to fix this pricing issue, GoPro has come out with this Hero+ camera which just comes with an added WiFi at a price of $199.99.
GoPro have also given a price cut to its smallest action camera till date dubbed the Hero4 Session. Intially launched at a hefty price tag of $399.99, the action camera was presumably not doing as per GoPro's expectation. Hence they decided to give it a price cut too but reducing it to $299.99.
