Instax Mini Evo Cinema Hybrid Instant Camera Debuts in India With Built-In Printer and Cinematic Effects
FUJIFILM India has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a hybrid instant camera aimed at users who enjoy cinematic storytelling while shooting on the go. The new model records both still photographs and video clips, then produces instant prints, turning daily scenes and celebrations into small physical mementoes that can be shared or stored.
The instax mini Evo Cinema works as a 3‑in‑1 device for users. It records videos, shoots still images and also acts as a smartphone printer. This versatility is designed for people who move between phone photography and dedicated cameras, yet still want the charm and immediacy of instax prints in their daily lives.

instax mini Evo Cinema price and availability in India
In India, the instax mini Evo Cinema Premium Edition arrives as a Combo Box package. Buyers receive the camera and two packs of instax mini glossy film, with 10 shots in each pack. The set carries a price tag of Rs 47,999. Pre‑bookings run from 21st January to 27th January 2026.
Customers who reserve the instax mini Evo Cinema during the pre‑booking window on www.instax.in will get extra film. FUJIFILM India is offering two additional designer instax mini film packs, again with 10 shots each, as a pre‑booking benefit. Retail availability and dispatches are scheduled to begin from 28th January 2026 across the country.
instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera features
The wider Evo Series, which includes the instax mini Evo Cinema, is FUJIFILM’s hybrid instant camera line. Users frame pictures using the LCD screen on the back, choose preferred images and then print them. The series also supports multiple creative effects, encouraging experimentation while keeping the quick print experience of classic instant cameras.
The instax mini Evo Cinema also focuses on short video clips. The camera records video, then converts that data into a QR code printed on instax paper together with a still frame. FUJIFILM India says this lets users effectively “hand over a video”. Scanning the QR code allows easy replay of favourite shared moments.
instax mini Evo Cinema Eras Dial and design details
A key addition on the instax mini Evo Cinema is the "Eras Dial" control. This feature offers 10 different effects, including "1960", which is based on the look of 8mm film cameras. Each effect supports 10 intensity levels, providing 100 combinations. Users can create photos and videos that suggest different historical periods.
The physical design of the instax mini Evo Cinema recalls Fujifilm’s film heritage. The camera uses a vertical grip style inspired by the "FUJICA Single-8" 8mm model introduced in 1965. FUJIFILM India has emphasised a crafted appearance and analogue‑style controls, aiming to make both framing and printing feel more involving and hands‑on.
instax mini Evo Cinema app functions and smartphone printing
Alongside the camera, a dedicated app supports the instax mini Evo Cinema. Users can join multiple clips, apply cinematic opening and ending templates and shape video edits within the app. The software also includes a Direct Print Function, which turns stored smartphone pictures into instax prints for people who mainly shoot on mobile devices.
With video capture, still photography and smartphone printing in one body, the instax mini Evo Cinema targets creators who want fast prints without leaving digital tools behind. For buyers in India, the Combo Box, launch dates and app functions together outline how FUJIFILM India plans to position this hybrid instant camera in 2026.
