Nikon released an Interchangeable Lens camera, Nikon 1 V1 DSLR some time back. This camera makes use of EXPEED-3 processor that is capable of providing a faster AF performance. You can create clips combining video and stills and then add music too with this DSLR camera from Nikon. Full HD recording and slow motion video recording are other noteworthy features of this model.

The exterior of the camera is made up of magnesium alloy which makes it less prone to scratches. The build quality is good. This camera will be available for the users in two varied colours. They are black and white. The product weighs approximately 300 grams without the lenses.

Users can opt from the two view finders namely Electronic Viewfinder and LCD Viewfinder in Nikon 1 V1. One of the major attractions of this camera is that it automatic gets powered on by extending the lens out. Alternatively, users can make use of the power button also. The camera also comprises of mechanical and electronic shutter. The former is meant for regular shooting, and the latter is meant for faster shooting. The speed with which the camera can shoot is given as 10fps, 30fps and 60fps respectively.

The motion mode in Nikon 1 V1 allows users to combine still images with a few seconds of video recording to create clips. User can then playback these clips with background music that that they can choose from the options available in this camera. In the Smart Photo Selector, the camera takes a range of 20 photos at 30 fps, and you can choose any five of the best shots that are available. Full HD video recording at 1080p can be taken with this camera. Slow motion video mode is also present in the camera. For taking normal photos, users will have to choose the ‘Still Image Mode’. The colour effects that are available include Vivid, Neutral and Monochrome etc.
