CES 2012 started yesterday is yet another one for an avalanche of cameras from Olympus awaiting announcements. The company's latest models in point and shoot category includes VR-340 which is a 16 megapixel camera with the cosmetic toolbox feature allowing the digital makeup. With this option, you can paint the subject digitally with rouge, eyeliner and eyeshadow.
The second one is VR-320, a 14 megapixel model that has more durability instead of the digital painting feature. This model allows you to shoot high definition videos even in underwater for about 10 feet. Apart from these two, the VR series includes VR-160, which has 5x optical zoom in 19.3 mm frame.
The other model, is the 14 megapixel SZ-12 with 24x optical zoom lens and reto-chic grip. The other one is SP-620UZ which leaves the optical zoom to 21x for a 16 megapixel sensor. If you are not looking for a point and shoot camera, here is a M.Zuiko digital 12.50 mm micro 4/3 lens for the PEN series of cameras of the company. This lens with a focus of 5.3 to 6.3 has a zoom ratio of 4.2x and 8 inches focus in the macro mode.
