Panasonic has launched a new range of digital compact cameras very recently. One very notable camera in that line up is Panasonic Lumix ZS20. Panasonic claims that this is the thinnest camera in the world having a 20X zoom.

The camera features a very beautiful design. Definitely this camera is very thin and small compared to other point and shoots cameras available out there in the market. The camera has a thickness of just 1.1 inch. So when the lens is retracted the camera will easily fit in your pocket. The small size offers the advantage that it can be easily taken with you in long trips. You won’t have to find a particular place for the camera, just tuck it in a corner and you are good to go. The shutter button and the selector button have a metallic silver colour. This silver highlight in the black over all design looks very attractive.
The camera features 20 X zoom. This allows you to take photographs of distant subjects with amazing clarity and precision. The high sensitivity MOS sensor has a resolution of 14 mega pixels. A 3 inch 460K dot resolution screen is there at the back and gives a good preview of the subject or scenery in the front.
Panasonic Lumix ZS20 will retail with a price tag of about Rs.20,000/- in India. When the features of the camera are taken into consideration this price tag seems very reasonable. The features are apt for both the budding photographers and professionals alike. The camera is expected to hit the stores by March.
