Panasonic new rugged Lumix waterproof Camera: DMC-FT4
It is designed to withstand even the harsh environment with its environment proof design. To begin with, it’s a waterproof device. It remains unaffected in performance even when it’s exposed to severe dusty environment too. That makes it dustproof. Now the case when one accidently drops the camera to the solid ground surface, the new Panasonic Lumix DMC- FT4 has a shock proof feature to its rescue. In freezing cold, just take care of yourself because Lumix is just fine with its freeze proof.
The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT4 can be taken to depths of up to 12m and still it will be fine with its waterproof feature. Same is the case when it’s dropped from up to a height of 2m. It can survive the coldest temperatures that get to decrease to about -10 degree Celsius.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT4 has features like,
- 28mm wide-angle lens
- Optical zoom of 4.6x
- 12.1-megapixel sensor
The camera is capable of shooting videos in full HD. Geared up with the Venus Engine utility; it is possible for the camera to record the videos continuously in HD and that too at the rate of 3.7fps.
The LUMIX DMC-FT4 is enabled with a GPS utility too. With this function, the camera will be able to guide its user with geographical information like the name and location of a particular landmark where the user is standing. As a preset, the camera is capable of covering 1m landmarks over 203 countries according to Panasonic.
The user can tag the location names along with the photos or videos and this gets stored in separate folders in alphabetic order. Thus the user can get the tagged videos and images very easily. Another interesting fact that can be read along with is its ability to even detect the local time of the region its positioned.
With all these high end features, the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT4 will be made available in the markets from March. It will have a price tagging in the range of Rs 25,000/- to Rs 30,000/-.
