Aakash 2 price confirmed to be Rs 2500

The Indian Human Resource Development Ministry has confirmed the price of Aakash 2 to be Rs 2500($50). Following a lot of confusion regarding the Aakash 2 pricing, the price is now fixed. The Aakash 2 is reportedly going to have a lot of upgradations this time around & is expected to provide a rich functionality at an affordable price.

A capacitive touchscreen is reportedly incorporated into the Aakash 2. In addition to this, a faster processor is also built-in. This new, efficient processor is expected to provide high-end features & thereby increase the functionality of the Aakash 2.

The Indian H.R.D Ministry has also proposed to develop a Rs 1750($35) Aakash tablet in the future. Thus, the student community in India is going to be benefited immensely.
