Apple plans to kill 17 inch Macbook Pro
Apple is in news now with their plan of discontinuing their 17 inch Macbook Pro. Some analysts confirmed that most probably the making of these laptops will be stopped by this year. It is due to notable slowdown in shipments.
As most of the youngsters prefer 13 inch and 15 inch MacBook Pro laptops, the demand for 17 inch Macbook Pro fell down. Apple is about to refresh its 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro notebooks based on its popularity. 17 inch Macbook Pro doesn’t fit with Pro's newly designed sleek form factor. This is yet another reason for its drop down.
Although Apple has not yet officially announced new models are expected to come up with Intel's Ivy Bridge processors. Apple is expecting a hike in the purchase of these 13 inch and 15 inch MacBook Pro laptops with this refreshed design and with the unavailability of 17 inch Macbook Pro.
The MacBook Pro was first brought into market by January 2006 to replace PowerBookG4. Various models of these series laptops were introduced in the following years. Apple expected a good demand from youngsters when 17 inch Macbook Pro was brought into market.
