In a first glance the user may confuse this tablet with Eee pad Transformer because it looks very much similar when viewed from the sides. But once the sides of the tablet come into view the differences are obvious. The thickness of this tablet is much more compared to its older brother. But this is not a big difficulty because the added thickness is because of the fact that the device has a full sized physical keyboard. Slide the screen and the keyboard is revealed.
The screen slides up at an optimal angle giving the user the best possible viewing angle allowing him/her to use the device placing it in the lap. This can be very useful when you need to use the tablet while travelling around. The keyboard is very big and the keys are sufficiently spaced apart. They engage with a reassuring thud and it is very easy to use. The large keys make sure that you don’t make much typo errors.
The slide out display is LED back lit type. The 10.1 inch screen offers 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and is also very good looking. It gives very efficient colour production and offers impressive viewing angles. It is provided with Gorilla glass in the surface and this gives additional safety and comfort.
Asus Eee pad slider comes with a price tag of around Rs. 30, 000/-. This is the apt device if you are looking for an affordable laptop replacement. This all in one tablet will get the job done.
