Asus introduces new MeMo 370T Tegra 3 powered tablet
This year’s CES at Las Vegas offered a lot to the world. Many advanced gadgets had their release this year and some of the most recent advanced technology presently available in the world was showcased there.
Many respected manufacturers of PC, tablets, smart phones and other consumer electronics had a busy time running behind organizing exhibitions and trial shows of their products.
The competition among the brands got displayed at the event. In short it was the theatre of performance. Each brands had something new and exciting to offer. Out of the devices displayed at the event, majority of them had their launches scheduled in the upcoming months and for some the coming weeks.
Asus, the manufacturer of high end tablets and other similar devices had their new Tegra3 powered tablet ready for release. The new tablet is named Asus MeMo370T and it’s heavily loaded with some awesome features.
The key feature of the new Asus tablet remains to be its Tegra 3 processor. This powerful processor would give the user a stable and fluid performance by positively influencing the overall functionality of the device. Other features of the tablet includes a
7 inch screen LCD display
Tegra 3 processor
Android 4.0 OS
However a world wide release of the device was expected, it’s now confirmed that the tablet won’t be sold in UK. The solid explanation for this comes directly from the Asus. He says, the company doesn’t find a demand for the tablets at the moment and this has forced the company to halt the plans to release the device in UK.
Instead the company is focusing to launch a Smartphone and tablet hybrid which according to him will be announced officially at the Mobile world congress.
Another fact that supports this decision of Asus is that the company hasn’t sold a smart phone yet in UK which lead straight to a situation where there isn’t any user base for 3G devices in the country.
Thus it has been confirmed that it won’t be the Asus MeMo 370T that would be the company’s concern but the PadFone. Rumors are out on the PadFone too saying it would also feature Tegra 3 processor and while a group believes it’s going to be bundled along with a Snapdragon MSM8960.
However Asus MeMo which comes with its Tegra 3 processor will be available at a price of around Rs. 15,000.
