Barnes & Noble has launched two new e-reader models in the UK market. The products that are making headlines includehe the 7-inch Nook HD and the 9-inch Nook HD+.

As informed by numerous reports, both tablets will launch simultaneously in the US and the UK in November. The pre-orders for these tablets have begun online and at Barnes and Noble stores. The devices will be available in market in early November.

Barnes and Noble executives showed off just how the hardware stacks up against the competing tablets from Amazon, Google, and Apple earlier this week. “The Nook HD is the lightest, high-resolution 7-inch tablet. It’s 20 percent lighter than the Kindle Fire HD,” Jonathan Shar, Barnes & Noble’s GM of digital content, told ABC News.
