Beetel Magiq Vs MTS 1055 Head To Head Comparison
Demands for tablets in India are growing and it's the same gadgets running in Android OS platforms. A huge clash is about to ensue as Airtel launches their home version of a hi-tech tablet named Beetel Magiq and Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) prepares to launch their own new tablet named the MTS 1055.

Both the new tablet pcs are reported to run in the Android Froyo 2.2 operating system developed by Google. The Froyo version Android actually suits Smartphones better than the tablets. But it does absolutely fine in both these new tablet pcs, as in the reports. The Qualcomm Snapdragon processor helps both the tablet work out fine. The Beetel Magiq's processor is said to have 1 GHz clock speed, and there are speculations that the MTS 1055 also share the same. But it's not confirmed yet and rumours are that the processor will be Qualcomm MSM7227 in the 1055. 7 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen displays make them both cool and offers 800 x 680 pixels maximum resolution.

The Beetel Magiq and 1055 support standard 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. Enhanced A2DP version Bluetooth enables the tablets to share and transmit data within the least amount of time. The 1055 is equipped with a 10/100 MB Ethernet port but is said to lack front cameras. The rear camera of the 1055 is of 3.2 megapixels while that of the Magiq is 2 Megapixels. Even though, the 1055 dominates in the camera quality category, Beetel Magiq still has an additional advantage up its sleeve - a VGA front camera. Although it's a VGA camera, it suits fine for video conferencing. A navigation trackpad is one of Magiq's coolest assets making up for the lack of an Ethernet LAN port as in the 1055.

Magiq comes with 8 GB internal memory and can be extended up to 16 GB. 1055 is also believed to come with the same. Magiq has a boot loader feature, which erases all restrictions to access applications and general facilities after booting the tablet, without having to adjust a few settings here and there. Magiq and the 1055 both possesses 3.5 mm standard audio jack so that both of them can be connected to external speakers for purposes of audio amplification, improvement of audio quality, etc. Thanks to the Android OS, both of the tablets open to the users, a door to an e-market where they can find and buy about 300000 applications based on Android. Magiq makes use of a 2200 mAh and has considerable battery life while 1055 is charged by a 3400 mAh offering it more battery life and backup.

Apparently, both these tablets are almost evenly matched except that Magiq slightly dominates in certain categories. MTS always keep their products affordable. You can be proud owners of an 1055 tablet for an attractive price in India of Rs 8,000/-. Beetel Magiq is more advantageous and appreciable but is priced slightly more than MTS 1055 at about Rs 9,000/-.
