BSNL to launch Rs 3250 tablet

India's leading telecommunication service provider, BSNL announced that it would be launching three new tablet computers. Out of the three, one tablet PC is said to cost Rs 3250 & is considered as a competitor to the World's cheapest tablet Aakash.

This tablet is a 7-inch one & is going to be powered by a 1GHz processor. It also incorporates a 256 MB RAM. The operating system in this is expected to be the Android. In addition to this, a resistive touchscreen is also present. BSNL claims that this tablet is going to be a tough competitor to the Aakash & people are going to prefer it over the latter.

The other two tablets are reportedly going to cost between Rs 10999 & Rs 13500. Both these tablets are going to provide capacitive touchscreen interfaces. Pre-bookings for all these tablets have begun. Customers ordering these tablets would get special data tariff plans & attractive offers on BSNL's 3G services.
